Level III Sex Offender Relocates to Duluth

The Duluth Police Department is notifying the public of the release and relocation of a Level III sex offender. 

38-year-old Taran Buchanan is now living in the 200 block of North 22nd Avenue West in Duluth. 

Buchanan has a history of sexual contact with a 12-year-old girl who was known to him. Contact included penetration with the girl. 

Buchanan is described as being 6 feet tall, weighing 219 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. 

He has served his time for the crime, and is not currently wanted by police.
