Third Child Dies after Sheboygan Falls House Fire

Authorities say a third child has died after a house fire in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin.

The fire happened Tuesday night.

Police say a fourth child, a 9-year-old girl, escaped the burning home and alerted neighbors to the blaze, who then called 911.

Authorities say an 11-year-old child awoke the 9-year-old.  The 11-year-old then tried to save two others, ages 7 and 10.

Firefighters pulled them from the burning building.  All three died at the hospital.

Police say the parents were not home and authorities are investigating reports that they were at a bible study group.

Smoke alarms were working in the home.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
