Suspect in Murder in Aurora Found Fit to Stand Trial
The man accused of gunning down his former girlfriend in Aurora has been found competent to stand trial.
Fifty–one year old John Plevell is charged with second–degree murder in the shooting death of Julie Hildreth outside of the American Legion in early November.
Plevell was on probation at the time of the shooting for allegedly assaulting Hildreth.
Hildreth also had a domestic abuse no contact order against him.
He’ll be back in court for another hearing in March.
