City of Duluth Seeks to Fill Vacancies on Board, Commissions
Mayor Emily Larson is encouraging Duluth residents to serve on the city boards and commissions, which currently have vacancies.
The city is seeking a diverse pool of applicants for some of its 30 boards and commissions.
Members provide valuable input and leadership on topics that include public arts, parks and recreation, trees, heritage preservation, disabilities and many others.
To be considered to serve on any of the boards or commission, an application needs to be filled out and submitted to the City Clerk’s Office.
Applications are kept on file for two years.
For many of the boards and commissions, Duluth residency is required and some have specific skills or areas of expertise listed.
Applications are available on the city’s website.
Applications will be accepted through Tuesday, February 16. They must be sent to the City Clerk’s Office at Room 330, Duluth City Hall, 411 West Street, Duluth, MN 55802 or can be submitted online here
