Pierre Newton Awarded NSIC North Honor

Newton Named NSIC North Division Player of the Week

UMD’s Pierre Newton named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference, north division player of the week.

Newton earned the honor after scoring a career high 42 points Saturday against Southwest Minnesota State.

Newton averaged 30 points and six assists per game this past weekend.
