Two Arrested in Duluth Heroin Bust

Two people were arrested last Thursday after police raided a Duluth home, seizing more than 45 grams of heroin. 

Duluth Police, along with the Superior Police Department and Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force, executed a search warrant at an apartment complex in the area of the 100 block of East 4th Street on January 28. 

During their search, police found 45.4 grams of heroin. 

19-year-old Rubin Marcello Joniken, of Chicago, was arrested and charged with First Degree Possession of 25 grams or more of Heroin. 

30-year-old Cornelius Durell Clinkscales, of Duluth, was arrested on a Felony Violation of Probation Warrant stemming from a 1st degree sale of Heroin charge from 2014.
