Gov. Walker signs Blaze Pink Hunting Bill into Law
Governor Scott Walker has signed a bill into law allowing hunters to wear fluorescent pink rather than traditional blaze orange.
Before the bill was passed, at least half of all clothing deer hunters wore above the waist had to be blaze orange.
The law will now allow hunters to swap that color pink if they so choose.
Representative Nick Milroy (D-South Range) and Senator Terry Moulton (R-Chippewa falls), authored the bill.
They say the bill is designed to draw more women into hunting and provide options for hunters.
