Duluth Burglary Suspect Arrested, Charged

A 31-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection to a burglary in Duluth last week. 

Peter John Jongewaard was charged with First Degree Burglary. 

The charges stem from an incident on February 4th where police responded to a home in the 800 North block of 23rd Avenue West on reports of a burglary. 

The homeowner told police a man entered his home while he was inside, grabbed his wallet, and fled the scene. 

Police located Jongewaard in the area of 700 Garfield Avenue. 

Jongewaard was arrested and charged with first degree Burglary.
