Police Seek Help Locating Missing Mapleton Man

Authorities are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing Mapleton, Minnesota man. 

58-year-old Allan Nielsen was last seen an February 16 around 7:30 in the morning. 

Police are concerned for his welfare. They say he has had no contact with family, which is out of character. 

Nielsen is driving a 2007 white Chevy Cobalt with Minnesota license plate 629-CZK. 

He is described as being 6 feet tall, weighing 220 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. 

He was wearing blue jeans, a grey sweatshirt with a Maple River Eagle on it, a Vikings starter jacket and Merrell hiking boots.  

Authorities are asking the public to keep a lookout for him or his vehicle in hotel/motel parking lots or other places one may seek shelter. 

Anyone with information on Nielsen’s whereabouts is asked to contact Blue Earth Country Dispatch at 507-387-5601, or call 911.
