Northland Fans Enjoy Outdoor NHL Hockey

Many Locals Were in Attendance at the Stadium Series

The big day was finally here.
Minnesota had been waiting years to host an outdoor professional game, so fans from across the State of Hockey made the trek to TCF Bank Stadium for the NHL Stadium Series game between the Minnesota Wild and Chicago Blackhakws.  Among them, were many from the Northland.
“It’s great Minnesota finally got a game,” said Jennifer Kuhlman of Esko.  “We’re the State of Hockey.”

“It’s a once in a lifetime thing, and I think it’s pretty great,” added Jasmin Donley of Duluth.

And on a picture perfect day for outdoor hockey, everyone was happy. Except maybe Blackhawks’ fans, as the Wild beat their team, 6-1.
“I love it here,” said Donley.  “All the people, all the fans, the Minnesota Wild, and everything.”

With Minnesota’s first outdoor pro game in the books, fans had one question.  When is the next one?
