Students gather for Construct Tomorrow event

An event called Construct Tomorrow is expected to attract more than 900 students from around the region.

At the event, students will be given hands on experience with a career in the trades.

Students are able to pull wires and lay bricks.

It is the 3rd year in a row that the event has taken place and officials hope that it will raise excitement for students about their future.

Bill Gronseth, Superintendent of Duluth Public Schools, said “Through this event, students are having an experience we can’t provide them in school.”
