Teacher Assaulted at St. Paul High School

Police say a teacher at a St. Paul High School was punched and thrown to the ground by two male students.

A video shared on social media shows the teacher being slammed to the ground while other students watched.

The incident happened Wednesday morning at Como Park High School.

According to Minnesota Public Radio news, neither the police or school district officials would identify the teacher or students involved.

St. Paul Police spokesman Steve Linders says the students weren’t arrested, however, they will probably be charged at a later date.

St. Paul Public Schools Superintendent Valeria Silva said in a statement that the “violent behavior is unacceptable.”

The school is reviewing the incident.
