World class fine arts school opens in Duluth

A world class fine arts school will be opening in Duluth this fall. Up to 20 students will be accepted and they will be given the opportunity to earn a degree in 4-5 years.

Jeffrey Larson, Head Master of the new school, and his son will be teaching there. Larson said “We really want to have a school that is one of the best in the world.”

The school will be in St. Peters church building. The church is currently under renovations and dorms will be built into it for the students.

Larson is excited to have the school in Duluth and he said “It frees us as artists to live and work where we want and what could be better than Duluth? I think this is a perfect place for a school like this.”
