Jet Fighter to Perform at Duluth Air Show

A rare British jet fighter will soar into Duluth for this year’s air show.

The deHavilland Vampire was developed during World War II as the first single engine allied jet engine aircraft to combat the newly introduced German jet fighter.

This will mark the first time the Vampire has ever been to the Midwestern United States and you can only see it in Duluth this summer.

The Vampire will be on display at the CAF hangar and will also perform aerobatics during the show itself.

The Duluth airshow will take place on July 9-10.

The event will feature the United States Air Force Thunderbirds, who have not performed in Duluth since 2010.

You can purchase tickets for the event here.
