Duluth Seeking Proposals for “Lot D” Development

The City of Duluth is seeking proposals for a potential development along the waterfront. 

The Duluth Economic Development Authority issued a Request for Proposals Friday for future development on prime waterfront land, referred to as “Lot D”. 

The site is 12 acres of flat land, zoned as Mixed-Use Waterfront, and is in between Compass Minerals property and the Pier B Resort development. 

The appraised value of the land is $2.1 million. 

The property is along 1,550 of waterfront, and boasts views of the iconic Aerial Lift Bridge and Duluth’s Park Point.

It is one of the last remaining, undeveloped properties on the harbor. 

DEDA is accepting proposals from interested parties until April 29.
