Hibbing High School Assistant Principal Resigns

Assistant Principal is Currently On Administrative Leave

The Assistant Principal at Hibbing High School who had previously come under fire for accusations of discrimination is resigning.

Jac Fleming resigned after being accused of making inappropriate comments to another adult. Fleming was placed on administrative leave as required under the tenure laws of Minnesota. Fleming has denied the accusation, but is resigning as the assistant principal, at the end of the school year.

“We have a very good core of community members, students, and teachers, we’re working really hard to try to set the tone and get back to what we are about,” said Brad Johnson, the Superintendent for Hibbing Public Schools.

Fleming will remain on administrative leave for the rest of the school year.
