Twins Fans Come From All Over To Enjoy Home Opener

Minnesota faced Chicago White Sox in their first home game of 2016

On Monday Target Field came alive with the Minnesota Twins home opener. The temperatures were low but that didn’t bother most fans.

“This doesn’t seem too bad to me, we’re used to it,” said Duluthian Kyle Freeman.

The Twins season has so far been cold, going 0-6 in their first week of action.

“It’s only six games, it’s a long season, I’m not worried at all,” said Freeman.

Win, or lose, the Twins sold-out home opener was an incredible atmosphere and it’s clear the state of hockey has missed the boys of summer.
