For this week’s Cooking Connection, we were in the kitchen with Northern Waters.

The chefs showed FOX 21’s William Seay how to make Hawaiian poke salad with wild Alaskan sockeye salmon. 

Hawaiian Poke Salad with Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon

-Take skin off of salmon
-Cut salmon into cubes
-Toss with Hawaiian style dressing
-Dress with combination of tamari, sesame oil, green onions and fresh ginger
-Add sesame seeds

Now salmon is ready for the wraps

-Lay out lettuce wraps
-Add cooked coconut rice, poke salmon salad, crushed almonds, and radish
