Wine Tasting: Spring Time Sippers

The Perfect Wines for Spring Time

Spring time is arriving so it’s the perfect time to think about Spring beverages!

Marc Carrigan, Regional Sales Manager for Foley Family Wines, visited FOX 21 Sunrise to sample some wines.

All of these wines are affordable and available in the area.

The first wine we tried was Guenoc Pinot Grigio. This comes from Lake County, California. It’s a great food wine with high acid and many fruity flavors.

The next wine was Four Graces Pinot Gris. This is the same variety as pinot grigio, but it’s made in a different style. This wine is much rounder than the previous.

Third, we tried out Sebastiani Sauvignon Blanc. This has grapefruit and citrus characters.

Next, we tried Lincourt Chardonnay. This is a food-friendly wine coming from the central coast.

Last, we tried a gin. The Lighthouse Gin is from New Zealand. This gin doesn’t have the pine needle taste, but uses oranges and lemons indigenous to New Zealand.
