Superior Moves Closer To Getting A Dog Park

City Council brought a resolution Tuesday to support the Dog Park Committee.

Tuesday, the City Council of Superior voted on a resolution that gave their support for the Superior Dog Park Committee.

The committee is working on a park that would be located on 28th Street and Wyoming Ave.

The council said they are willing to help make it a reality.

“We’re a very dog friendly community so if that’s what the community is wanting absolutely yes, i’d like to help make that happen,” said Linda Cadotte, Director of Parks, Rec and Forestry.

The committee is hosting a “Yappy Hour” April 26, to discuss their ideas and gather input from the public.
