Animal Allies Is Looking For Kids Who Care

Does your kid have a big heart for all types of critters?  If so, Animal Allies in Duluth wants to hear from you. The organization is celebrating “Be Kind To Animals Week” May 8th- 14th.

As part of the festivities, the non-profit is taking nominations of kids who go above and beyond to show love toward animals — even worms.

“A little girl — 3 or 4 years old — and she would pick up worms and so people wouldn’t step on them. It’s those acts of kindness that we want to recognize,” said educator Pat Castello, with Animal Allies.

To nominate a child, send their name, age, and brief description to Pat Castello at Animals Allies in Duluth.
