Homegrown Kicks Off First Day Of Festivities

A Festival featuring eight days of Homegrown music kicked off in Duluth Sunday.

Homegrown Music Festival originally started out as a birthday party for a local musician many years ago, but has now grown in to a eight-day performance extravaganza.

More than 200 performers are playing the festival this year, and it takes place across 39 venues in the Twin Ports.

Festival-goers say it’s an event they look forward to each year, and that living in the Northland wouldn’t be the same without it.

Tickets can be purchased at Electric Fetus and all of the venues.
