Duluth Man Nabbed in Heroin Bust

A Duluth man was arrested and charged after authorities raided a hotel room in Carlton County last week and found heroin. 

The Duluth Police Department, along with the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force, executed a search warrant at a hotel in Carlton County on May 5.  The Carlton County Sheriff’s Department, Cloquet and Fond du Lac Police Department assisted. 

During their search, police seized seven grams of heroin and $5,761 in cash. 

Authorities arrested 30-year-old Darrell Antonio Leary, of Duluth. 

Leary has been charged with Second Degree Controlled Substance Crime  and Third Degree Sale of a Controlled Substance.
