Hermantown Product is Latest Hawk to Commit to Bulldogs

Cole Koepke, captain of Hermantown’s state championship hockey team has committed to the University of Minnesota Duluth.

Koepke joins a long list of Hermantown players to choose the Bulldogs in the last decade.  A list that includes names like Chad Huttel, Kyle Schmidt, Adam Krause, Jared Thomas, Neal Pionk, and Dylan Samberg.

He wrapped up his high school career with 41 goals and 68 points, leading Hermantown to the Class A state title.

Koepke was drafted by the Sioux City Musketeers in the 2nd round of May’s United States Hockey League Draft.
