Union Soldier is Remembered at the Duluth Depot

Northland Uncovered: Woolson Memorial

This evening the Civil War will be the focus of conversation at the Duluth Depot.

The St. Louis County Historical Society is commemorating the 60th Anniversary of the passing of Albert Woolson, the last surviving Union soldier.

The event kicks off at 4:00 p.m. with a ceremony of rededication of the Woolson statue near the entrance of the Depot.

You can view the Lincoln Funeral Car exhibit in the Railroad Museum, along with the newly created Albert Woolson exhibit and Civil War artifact exhibit for free.
