The Northland has had its fair share of severe weather recently.

This morning on FOX 21 Sunrise we sat down with Lane Volesky, District Manager for Verizon Wireless, to chat about some ways you can stay connected if a storm hits.

Volesky says it’s important to have back up chargers to keep your devices ready for use.

He also says you should be sure to take pictures of your belongings and save them to a “cloud” in case any damage occurs. Then, you’ll have pictures for insurance.
