Duluth Playhouse Holds Poolside Party
Party kicks off their capital campaign which is raising money for NorShor Theater restorations.
The Duluth Playhouse soaked up the summer sun and brought in lots of donations, while people enjoyed the nice weather.
The Playhouse hosted a poolside party at Northland Country Club to mark the beginning of their capital campaign.
The playhouse is raising money to help restore the NorShor Theater.
“It’s going to be phenomenal. So it’s not only good for the arts, it’s good for our economy and it’s going to be terrific for tourism,” said Duluth Playhouse executive director Christine Gradl Seitz.
The playhouse set a goal to sell fifty seats for their “take a seat” campaign.
The $30.5 million dollar project is set to be completed in 2018.
