Grand Rapids High School Unveils New Logos

School to Unite its Athletic Department with One Logo

There’s a new look at Grand Rapids High School.

The school unveiled new logos for the Athletic Department Thursday, just in time for the new school year.

Activities Director Anne Campbell, Principal Mark Schroeder and other staff members worked with students to come up with the new logo.

The classic orange and black colors of the “Halloween Machine” are still there, with a fresh new logo that Campbell says will unite the Thunderhawks’ athletic programs.

“For our Activities and our Athletic Department, we wanted something that was bold, strong and fierce, and athletic looking,” said Campbell.  “We worked really hard on this new logo and I hope it lasts forever.”

Principal Schroeder was also a fan of his school’s new look.

“It’s been really enjoyable to work with students and staff as we worked through the process to get it done,” said Schroeder.  “This is really a cool logo, it really represents what Grand Rapids is all about.”
