Benefit for Tina Polkoski Taking Place Saturday

After Being Killed in a Fatal Crash in June, Benefit Will Help Tina's Children

Tragedy struck in June for a Northland community.

Tina Mae Polkoski, 31, was killed in a traffic accident leaving behind two sons.

Polkoski was known in Superior for supporting many by holding several benefits at Norm’s Beer and Brats, the business she owned.

Friends of Polkoski are holding a benefit in her honor this weekend.

It’ll be held at Tower Avenue Tavern in Superior from noon to midnight on Saturday, August 20.

There will be raffles until 6 p.m. and live music throughout the day. There will also be food to purchase.

It’s $10 to get in the door.

A portion of the proceeds are going into a trust fund for her sons.

The other part of the proceeds will go to a memorial scholarship in her name for women in business at Superior High School.

The Tower Avenue Tavern is located at 405 Tower Ave, Superior, WI.
