Coast Guard Reminds Us to Stay Safe During Tall Ships
Ports Still Open for Other Watercraft
Tall Ships are in town, but the ports are still open to other boats and water craft.
Kayakers are able to get up close to and paddle next to the tall ships, but the U.S. Coast Guard asks people to stay safe on the water, even among all the excitement. This means staying at least 300 feet away from the Tall Ships, and not consuming alcohol while on the water.
Tall ships is expected to bring in 300 thousand people.
