Duluth Police and Fire Departments Battle for Good Cause

9th Annual Guns N Hoses

Thursday night the Duluth Police Department and the Duluth Fire Department will be battling on the diamond.

The annual softball game is all for a good cause.

Police officers and firefighters will be taking part in the Guns N Hoses softball game.

All proceeds from the night benefit the Northern Lights Foundation.

The game is free to attend, but donations are accepted. Food will be for sale and donations will be collected from a dunk tank.

Chief of Police, Mike Tusken; Fire Chief Dennis Edwards; and FOX 21’s Dan Hanger will be taking turns in the dunk tank.

There will be fire trucks, the mounted patrol and K-9 demonstrations.

The gates open at 5:30 p.m. and the game starts at 6 p.m.

The event is taking place at Wade Stadium.
