Duluth Children’s Museum Offering Free First Fridays

A fall offering for the first Friday of every month through May

Fall is just around the corner, and the Duluth Children’s Museum is once again offering free First Friday events. From September through May, the museum hosts a themed event at no charged to the community.

September’s First Friday will be held September 2nd from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The theme will be Building with Biology, where visitors will learn from local biologists and participate in hands-on biology activities. Access to all the museum’s regular exhibits will be open, as well.

“We are excited to provide free First Fridays again this year,” said Cameron Bloom Kruger, President/CEO of the Duluth Children’s Museum. “It’s a great opportunity for those who haven’t see the museum yet to experience the fun and for all families to have something to do on a Friday evening.”

Additional upcoming First Friday events include Classics for Kids in October, Ojibwe language learning in November, and a Winter Carnival in December. The events are held the first Friday of each month from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The Duluth Children’s Museum is located at 115 S. 29th Avenue West and is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sundays, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
