Winning Lottery Ticket Sold at Fourth Street Market

The Prize Includes $25,000 Every Year, For Life

It’s not even close to Saint Patrick’s Day, but the luck of the Irish can apparently be found on Fourth Street in Duluth.

The owner of the Fourth Street Market and Deli, confirming to FOX 21 News, a winning “Luck for Life” lottery ticket has been sold at his store.

The ticket is worth $25 thousand dollars every year, for the rest of your life.

Owner Tom Potter says if the lucky duck decides to cash in the prize, it breaks down to nearly $395,000 dollars, all in cash.

“We are in a low income neighborhood and I think, wouldn’t that be great if it was somebody from this neighborhood that bought that ticket because we do have a lot of walk–in traffic,” Potter said.

No one has claimed the win yet, but the employees all agree it will increase business in their locally owned and operated market.

Potter said, “We had several people who we thought were regular players of that game. We did talk to them and called them but it was none of those people so we’re not really sure who the winner is!”

The Fourth Street Market and Deli will not receive any profits from selling the ticket, but Potter hopes someone turns it in, or finds it pretty soon.
