Elements of Duluth Preparing for the Holiday Season

Holiday Decorations Begin to Fill Shelves in the Northland

Silver bells and snowy flakes are whipping in to some parts of the Northland, with only 89 days to go before Christmas.

Elements of Duluth is a runoff of Lotus on Lake, located in the Fitger’s Complex.

Shelves are already stocked and ready to go for the holidays.

“It’s beneficial to us to have them out because it’s only three months until Christmas and about eight weeks left to sell Christmas items!,” Owner Kelly Yetter said.

Yetter says in the department store and décor world, Halloween elements should be close to being phased out by now, preparing for shelves of glitz and glitter.

Yetter is excited for the change of seasons in her store, and says it’s fun to help tourists and locals get into the Holiday spirit.

“A lot of our garlands are green; you can put acorns in them for Thanksgiving and then put gold and silver in for Christmas. So it can transition very easily,” Yetter said.

If you’re still looking for some last minute fall décor, Elements of Duluth will continue phasing out their autumn pieces until everything is sold out.
