Red Herring Lounge Hosts Debate Bingo

Voters in Duluth Play Bingo While Watching Debate

Some voters in Duluth got creative watching the debate. The Red Herring Lounge on East First Street held a so called “Debate Bingo.”

Players were given a card with commonly used phrases by the candidates. Whenever candidates Trump or Clinton used one of those phrases, players marked that space.

“I think coming out in a casual setting and making it more of a community event is how I’d want to do it. Almost like a football game,” says Red Herring Lounge owner Bob Monahan.

Every bingo equaled a free drink. The Red Herring is planning to host debate bingos for the final two presidential debates.
