R.A.A.N gives locals advice

Local Advacy group has help if needed

Welcome back Ronald Reagan declared October to be aids awareness month in 1988. His goal was to educate the public and prevent the spread of this disease.

One group in Duluth is doing the same. R.A.A.N… Or rural aids action network leads rural Minnesota in the fight to stop HIV through a broad array of client services, risk reduction, advocacy and awareness. If you have concern that you may be tested, they make it a quick and easy process

“We offer a unique service, we offer walk in testing so any day Monday through Friday you can come in and the test is a simple one it takes 15 to 20 minutes,” Maggie Kazel

For more information they encourage you to walk in anytime at 18 W First St in Duluth. Or you can visit www.raan.org
