Local Concert Will Benefit Two Organizations

Douglas County Historical Society and Soldiers and Sailors Partnering Up

Happening Friday, October 17 at 7:00p.m., the Douglas County Historical Society will be teaming up with Soldiers and Sailors Relief Fund for a fundraising event.

A Paul Metsa concert will be happening at the Douglas County Historical Society, located at 1101 John Avenue in Superior.

DCHS Executive Director Tony Tracy says part of the proceeds from the event will benefit the local Soldiers and Sailors Relief program.

Barkers Island Inn will be helping out with the event. A portion of the funds will be used to fix lead paint issues at the Historical Society.
