Clock is Ticking for Voters Who Wish to Pre-Register

Minnesota and Wisconsin voters are reaching the last hours to register to vote

The clock is ticking for Minnesotans and Wisconsinites who still want to pre-register to vote online.

Today, Tuesday, October 18, is the last chance for Minnesotans to pre-register to vote in this year’s presidential election. The deadline is 11:59 p.m.

The election is a mere 20 days away, and officials say you could be waiting in long lines if you don’t pre-register to vote. Pre-registration only takes a few minutes; all you need is an email address and identification card, or last four digits of your social security number, if an ID is unavailable.

Wisconsin voters have until tomorrow, Wednesday, October 19 to pre-register.

Wisconsin voters must provide a photo ID at the polls to vote on election day. The Wisconsin Department of Motor Vehicles is offering free state ID cards for those who do not have one, but are interested in voting. Click here for more information.

A reminder that the election is on Tuesday, November 8.
