Local High School Hosts a Bake Sale for Breast Cancer

Some students at Harbor City High School organized a bake sale to raise money for breast cancer.

Organizers and students wore pink as they handed out homemade baked goods during their lunch hour.

People could buy cupcakes, pretzels and muffins.

All proceeds will go to St. Luke’s Cancer Center.

Victoria Tracy, a Junior at City High School, said “I personally have breast cancer in my family, all of the proceeds go to St. Luke’s.”

The students hope to raise $200.
