Fire Breaks Out in a Duluth Duplex

No Injured Were Reported, Damages Are Estimated at $50,000

Duluth Fire Officials responded to a duplex fire at 5021 and 5023 Tioga Street Tuesday evening.

Authorities say after waking up to a crackling sound, a woman and child inside the duplex escaped from the building.

Flames could be seen shooting from the front of the 5023 side of the duplex, as fire officials started knocking down the blaze.

Officials say no injuries were reported from the incident.

Duluth Fire Officials report 21 firefighters were on the scene at one point. Authorities believe damage estimates are nearing $50,000.
