Carmody’s Irish Pub Attracts Cubs Fans From All Over

Owner of Carmody's Ecstatic To Watch Cubs In World Series

Cubs fans are all over the United States and one of their biggest fans lives right here in Duluth.

Carmody’s Irish Pub Owner Ed Gleeson stuck with the lovable losers his entire life and finally has the chance to watch his beloved Cubbies in the World Series.

Dozens of Northland Cubs fans have been gathering at his bar to watch the games and when the cubs win Gleeson says it gets a little crazy.

Gleeson said, “We are excited here at Carmodys, we expect a crowd like we had last Saturday night. We were all standing on tables in here watching the game, anyone who had any Chicago roots and was a Cubs fan wound up here in the 7th inning.”

During the series the bar has plenty of specials ranging from beers named after famous cubs fans to new foods.
