Two Motorists Are Lucky to be Alive After Close Head-On Collision

The Accident Happened on US Highway 169 Near Hibbing

This morning, two motorists on the Iron Range are lucky to be alive after nearly facing a head-on collision.

Shortly before 10:00p.m. Sunday evening, the Minnesota State Patrol reports 27-year-old Rachell Senette of Chisolm nearly came into contact with a 2006 Buick Rendezvous traveling south on USTH 169 near Hibbing.

Officials say the Buick over corrected to avoid colliding with Senette, and rolled into the ditch.

Injuries are reported to be non-life threatening.
