Fitger’s Brewhouse Looks for New Head Brewmaster

The brewmaster will oversee Fitger's flagship and seasonal beers.

Fitger’s Brewhouse is looking for its next head brewmaster.

The head brewer will oversee the operations of all of Fitger’s flagship and seasonal beers.

The Brewhouse search has gone nationwide and the operatoin hopes that the waters of Lake Superior will attract some of the best brewers in the country.

“We’re scoping the country to find the best quality craftsmen that are available and bring them here to Duluth which we’re really excited about,” said Marissa Saurer, marketing director.

The previous brewmasters at Fitger’s Brewhouse spent twenty-one years and fourteen years respectively with the company. They have since left to pursue other craft beer opportunities.
