29th Annual Gales Of November

Maritime Enthusiast Gather At The DECC

Hundreds of maritime enthusiasts gathered today at the DECC for the 29th annual gales of November

The fundraising event focused on the 75th anniversary of Pearl Harbor and the importance the twin ports played in world war two.

Those that came enjoyed educational breakout presentations, an exhibit hall, silent auction and the opportunity to win a cruise of a life time.

Gales of November also focuses on the local impact the ship industry has on our economy.

“It’s one of the most important things to the twin ports, I mean we would not have our city without our maritime history, we were built on that. That’s why the twin ports exist, that’s what keeps us vibrant and strong,” say’s Tammy Sundbom Outterson

With the money raised they hope to keep bringing new artifacts into the maritime museum.
