Young Hockey Players Hit The Ice

If you’re a winter person and these warm fall temps aren’t your thing, you’ll always have hockey to make you feel at home.

Hockey season is ramping up in Superior and FOX 21 caught a first hand look at the Superior Termites.

These little skaters range from ages 3-5 and are just learning how to skate. The majority of them use a chair to gain confidence on their skates. Until they do, they tumble and fall but have the determination to get back up and try it again.

One little guy tells us that with these warm temps, he’d rather be skating.

“I don’t care how nice it is outside; I just want to be a skater,” says skater Jesse Anderson.

With that determination, these youngsters will be without a chair in no time.

They practice 2-3 times a week and plan on working with sticks in mid-December.
