Duluth Police and Fire Departments Continue to Investigate Arson Fire

The fire happened on October 18 at 1311 W 3rd Street

On October 18, 2016, there was an arson fire at a duplex on 1311 W 3rd Street. There were seven people in the building at the time of the arson fire, all occupants were able to escape safely, however the fire cause over $75,000 in damages.

The Duluth Fire Department and Police Department are asking for anyone who knows anything about the fire to call 1-800-723-2020.

The Minnesota Chapter of International Association of Arson Investigators is offering a reward of up to $5000 for any information that could lead to a conviction.

Witnesses reported seeing a Drone flying in the area of the fire scene. The Fire Marshal is requesting the assistance of the public in locating the owner of the Drone for video or pictures of the scene, please call 218-730-4398
