No Injuries in Early Morning Fire

A fire broke out this morning, Tuesday, November 8, in Superior.

At 2:33 a.m. the Superior Fire department responded to a reported structure fire in a detached garage at 1317 Birch Ave.

Upon arrival crews found a detached garage with heavy smoke and fire.

Fire crews quickly extinguished the fire.

There were no reported injuries and no one was in or around the structure at the time of the Fire Department’s arrival.

Fire crews remained on scene until 3:32 a.m.

The Fire Department responded with 3 Engines and 12 firefighters, along with Superior Police and Gold Cross.

Damages are estimated at $7,500.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
