Mills Reacts to Close Congressional Race

Mills Loses to Nolan in District 8 Race

It was yet another tight race between incumbent U.S. Representative Rick Nolan and challenger Stewart Mills.

Congressman Nolan barely came away with the win.

Nolan came away with 50.17% of the vote, while Mills had 49.61% of the vote.

Looking at the numbers, Nolan received 179,108 votes and Mills received 177,083.

FOX 21’s Joey Norton was in Nisswa and spoke with Mills about the close race.

“Everybody gave it their best shot and it just cam within a hairs breadth of winning,” Mills said.

Mills continued, “I more than likely will be calling Congressman Nolan and congratulating him on the victory.”
