Shop-Hop for Douglas County Humane Society

Superior Businesses Raise Money for Cause

In the city of Superior, 13 local businesses hosted a Shop-Hop to raise money for the Douglas County Humane Society, selling tickets for prizes at just $2 per ticket. Proceeds were presented Tuesday (11/15) to the Humane Society for a grand total of $602.30.

Shop-Hop organizer Kim Moen says, “We started it a few years ago, a few of us, just a shopping event for ladies, and it kind of evolved into a shopping event so we could raise money for various organizations.”

The next shop–hop in Superior will be hosted in the spring of 2017.
