Denfeld Students Fight Hate With Post-its

Students at Denfeld High School are taking back their walls after racist and homophobic graffiti was found written on bathroom stalls in the school last week.

The student Executive Board got together and put up thousands of colorful Post-its all over the building.

The Post-its have hand-written messages of love, hope and acceptance on them.

Denfeld’s assistant principal, Marcia Nelson, told FOX 21 the students wanted to show how the amount of love at Defeld far outweighs any type of hate within the building.
